learning experience addresses the following standards.

STANDARD 1:
Students will use mathematical analysis, scientific inquiry,

engineering design, as appropriate, to pose questions, seek
answers,
and
develop solutions.

Students will access, generate, process, and transfer information
using
appropriate technologies.

STANDARD 4: Students will understand and apply
scientific concepts, principles,
and
theories pertaining to the physical setting and living
environment and
recognize
the historical development of ideas in science.

Students will understand the relationships and common themes that
connect
mathematics, science, and technology and apply the themes to
these and
other areas of learning.

STANDARD 7: Students will apply the knowledge
and thinking skills of mathematics,

and technology to address real-life problems and make informed

This is not a single Learning Experience. Instead, it is simple a list that I to encourage creativity and the incorporation of learning styles into my classroom. 400+ Ways to Show What You Know is used throughout the school year as a source of ideas for:
alternative assignments made by the teacher.
alternative assignments selected by individual students.
portfolio projects that students can use for in depth learning.
What students need to know and/or be able to do to succeed with this learning experience.
Students should know that you value their work and enjoy having their creativity give you new perspectives on biology.
